SHIOK.
just had a major race with mel.
bath race!
as usual, i won.
but i thought i was gonna lose!
we were laughing so much, i laughed all the way to the toilet.
then i had such a hard time taking off my shirt, cos i was shaking so much from laughing.

we highly advise all sad ppl with nothing major bothering with their lives to do this exercise.
extremely fun and exciting.
VERY GOOD for the heart!
and cheap too. since you save water by bathing fast.

anyway we got most of our scripts back.
great improvement from midyrs, but not quite there yet.
mel and i were just indulging with self pity.
hahaha.
everyone study hard, we can get the results we deserve.
excluding me, who makes endless careless mistakes no matter how much i practise. (:

i feel very bloggish recently.
i need to go swim. haha.

just knocked over a cup, though i didnt break it.
caught it just right on time.
thinking of it, i think all of us are rushing for something invincible and timeless.
continuous, never ending probably till you die or give up.
like since when have you ever thought of doing something you like?

i mean not those stuff like shopping or going online.
something like walking at the void deck and talking to neighbours for fun.
or..gardening. or painting.

time is so important to us, that everything has got to have a timing.
let's say maybe 2 ppl wanna meet.
first thing they'll think of, "what time?"
time is making us stressed over nothing.
nothing, and everything.

let's start living life the way it should be,
the way people first started life at stone age or anything.
men women and children sit together arnd a fire eating
then listening to the old folks telling old tales.
and the children fish and swim in rivers, climbing trees and doing nothing.

i'll move to the country someplace nice in future.
good idea?

9/40 today.
1 hour of saying "can you wake her upand ask her to go to school now..."
bleah.
and seeing them break down..
hardly pleasant at all.
we dont know what to say, and we dont know what to do.
i understand their disappointment though.
think bout it,
can you imagine teaching all these kids for 4 yrs and they turn out to be careless of their school?
its hard being a teacher, esp in singapore.
a super slim pay packet, and overload of stress.
maybe its our country's enviroment.
their's no such thing as:
DAY FOR RELAXING
or HAPPY FRIENDLY WEEK.
courtesy week perhaps, but it doesnt seem to work.
can we be a HAPPY FRIENDLY society?
instead of one which is self centred and full of concerns about YOU and you only.

the retreat was good though.
and i dont regret coming to school.
its those times when people skip these things,
when the good stuff really comes.
lets treasure something that will never come again, right now, in IJ.
it is imageless, but very colourful.
but only belongs in one place.
i do wanna come back after 5 yrs to see it.
this can change our life-
forever.

AHHH.
just put down the phone with my grandma(mum's side).
talking to her on the phone just,
makes me smile.
aye.
i dont know, maybe it's her usual question of:
"where's norman"
"what time you coming back for dinner?"
"tell him/her to call me back when she gets home"
she's old.
and i wont forget what she did for me
16 years?
maybe longer. ever since she heard that mum is pregnant.
even so, since my mum is the only daughter in the family.
even better, im the only granddaughter.
girls are rare now eh.
i like it.
and i love my grandma. (:

just watched THE LONGEST YARD.
pretty good show,
a football star going into jail-
and having to captain a team of convicts
playing against the jail guards.

but anyway
the good part was him deciding to play and win
though the warden told him he would have to stay for 25 more years
the spirit of doing what's most important to you.
heh? its good.
but then again,
its about american prison life
and at the beginning
we are shown the cruelty of the prison guards.
are they really really like that?
i mean if they show us this
we have to believe it.
bashing them up just because they dont please you?
or because they're not helping you do a little something that you have to get away with.
is it really like that in other prisons as well?

convicts are supposed to go to jail and serve their time
yeah, get their caning for whatever reason.
but not beatings and discrimination by the guards.
i've seen a couple of about the same thing on prisons movies.
truly hope-
its not like that.
else,
the prison guards themselves deserve a sentence as well.

AND having to make the difficult decision.
most of us will have the mentality that OF COURSE we have to stand up for our friends and do it despite the consequences.
but is it that easy?
writing lines in school as a punishment is already called 'shit'
what more 25 years sentence eh?

i'de be delighted to see a true story like that from prison anywhere.
